Wish Marked by Lissa Bolts

Hi. I’m Nora, and I bring people’s worst nightmares to life.

Everyone needs a hobby, right? Well, in my case, that’s making people’s wishes come true, but in the worst possible way.

Sometimes people even wind up dead.

I know, I know. It sounds crazy. But the truth is, I don’t do it on purpose. I’m cursed, and I’m running out of time to fix it.

Enter Rafe Morgan, the dangerously gorgeous and impossibly stubborn man I just met at a bar in my search for answers. I never invited him on my curse-breaking she-quest, but that didn’t stop him from coming along anyway.

He’s already saved my life more than once, so for now… he can stay. But how can I be sure he’s really on my side? He knows more than he’s saying, and I can’t help but question his motives.

Unfortunately for me, there’s more at stake than I realized, and I’m about to learn the hard way just how far I’ll go to stay alive.

I’ve searched my whole life and found nothing. No answers. No cure. Not one hint about making this nightmare curse disappear.

    Well, that is… until today.

This is the first book in an all-new urban fantasy series: Stones & Curses. It’s got dragons, fae, vampires, jinn, shifters, and a whole lot more. If you love fierce heroines, heart-pumping adventure, a hint of swoony romance, and lots of mind-bending twists, then this is the series for you!

    Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Steam: Non-excistent, but who the fu** cares? Shipping Rara…? Nofe…? Rafe and Nora all the way!
    Genre: Romantic Fantasy

    • Urban Fantasy: Fae, Witches, Werewolves, Magic and more!
    • Quest for missing soul pieces
    • Enemies to Lovers (and back to enemies? o.O Or what?)
    • Slow burn
    • Bad ass heroine

Loved it so damn much! I’ve been literally craving to read something exactly like Wish Marked and I’m so glad I picked it up now. It was everything you’d wish a romantic adventurous fantasy story would hold. With all of its little amusing moments to incredible dangers and I can’t even…

I can’t even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this book. I’m so glad that the next two books are out, because I wouldn’t be able to survive if I had to wait to continue the story longer than it takes for amazon to print and deliver it to my doorsteps. I need it right now!

Nora is a jinn with a curse that’s kept her blind to the magical community and afraid of crowds. She has no control over her power that makes people’s wishes come true, so it’s better to avoid people altogether. Every wish always ends up in disaster and brings her closer to her own death. She is an incredible character. While blaming herself for every devastation, she’s still super open minded and trusting. She’s starting to see that she’s not the worst thing out there as she accidentally plummets into the magical world she’s not supposed to know about.

Rafe is this broody, mysterious guy that pushes himself into Nora’s quest to free her soul. There is so much we don’t know about him and yet he is so damn hot. I’d like to think he is truly trying to help Nora, because he keeps on putting himself in harm’s way to keep Nora safe. He even said, she is worth dying for, and hell if that’s not attractive as fu**! Literally every action he takes is to make sure Nora is getting closer to breaking her curse. Which is why I am left so damn confused. Whaaaaat happened in the end? What the heck happened?

    I’ve got so many questions:

    • What’s up with the kelpie Nora sort of saved?
    • Who exactly is Jack and why do he and Rafe dislike each other so much?
    • The dragon’s mark! o.O
    • And last of all, what the heck happened at the end?

Without saying anything spoiling of the story, this book ends in a cliffhanger that left me speechless. If you do decide to read it (please do, please read it, it is so amazing) you should have the next book in series lined up or go crazy once you reach the end.

    I am going crazy now!
