About Me

My Story
Born in 1995, Tallinn, Estonia. On a frosty winter day. A spark of joy in the midst of the darkest season.
I am a second daughter to my mother. Me and my sister had adventureful childhood, with lots of camping in the forest, running around like witches and faeries in nature and simply coming up with the silliest things to spend our time with. From my childhood, I got a deep connection with nature and I find peace and joy in taking a walk among trees.
There were always two things I was passionate about: writing and architecture. My mother was the one to say: “you can’t make a career out of writing” so I had my education in architecture.
After my studies I moved to the Netherlands, where my heart was calling out to be – I had met the love of my life through an online game I had spent a lot of my university time playing. Now we are living together in a big house, with a lovely garden, just a walk away from the forest. I might write fantasy, but he is my magic.
Why do I write?
You could say, I have been writing for as long as I could hold a pen. I, or more like my teachers, started noticing around 6th grade that I’ve got a talent for it. During 7th grade I started writing serial stories and posting about two page long episodes weekly that got the attention of my peers and reinforced my confidence that this is something I am actually good at. I’ve written fanfiction and attempted to start writing a book several times before. I still have the beginnings for the ‘books’ I never finished!
I’ve always loved reading and ever since I started posting my little stories online I was convinced I would write a book. One day. Sometime in the future. You know, there is time with that, no need to rush. It will happen, though. And it did!
I finally started taking it seriously, when I met Sophie Provost and read one of her stories (which she has yet to publish!!). That was the first beta reading I ever did and it was the nudge for me to start working on Through Hell & Highwater.

My reviews
I love reading as much as I love writing! I enjoy writing reviews to the books I’ve read and and sharing my enthusiasm with the rest of the world. Feel free to check out the books I’ve reviewed or request a book review.
